With a higher smoke point than our Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, our Organic Naturally Refined Coconut Oil is extremely versatile and can be used as an alternative to butter and other vegetable oils. Solid at cooler temperatures, it becomes liquid when warmed. It can be used for baking, sautéing, stir-frying or anywhere else you would use vegetable oil, shortening or butter. Kenai Organic Naturally Refined Coconut Oil contains 63% medium chain triglycerides (lauric acid, capric acid, and caprylic acid).
Coconut contains lauric acid, a medium-chain fatty acid also found in human breast milk. Lauric acid makes up about 50% of coconut oil.
Storage: There is no need to refrigerate our 100% Premium Organic Virgin Coconut Oil. It’s best to store it at room temperature out of direct sunlight.
